MOON ART | Great Blazing Bliss Mandala

The Great Blazing Bliss Mandala is a monumental devotional work and a living prayer. Created with menstrual blood over the course of four months and three complete bleeding cycles, this mandala unfolded as an act of sustained devotion, embodiment, and remembrance.

During its creation and release, the artwork traveled widely through social media, reaching over 16 million people worldwide and being consciously received and appreciated by more than half a million individuals. It became a collective field of prayer—transcending geography, language and belief.

In its original form, this mandala measures 1.5 meters by 1.5 meters, making it the largest menstrual artwork created to date.

At its center rests the sacred syllable HRIH—the seed sound representing the true, unconditioned nature of reality: luminous, untethered, and self-arising. Surrounding it is the mantra Om Ah Hum Hrih, a purification of body, speech, mind, and essence. The intricate geometries echo deep states of meditation, rhythmic breath, and the fundamental truth of interdependence—everything arising together as one seamless whole.

This piece is a field of devotion, bliss, and a transmission of non-dual remembrance encoded through blood, time and presence.

ABOUT PERIOD ART

My initiation into womanhood took place during a profound ceremony in 2016 while I was bleeding. After a night of mystical visions—death and life dissolving into one another—I received a realization that transformed my relationship with menstruation forever:
I was meant to create with my blood.

Discarding it suddenly felt incongruent. Instead, I felt called to honour it—to transform it into something sacred, intentional, and alive.

Since menarche, I had suffered from severe period cramps. Yet, through the ritual act of painting with my menstrual blood, month after month, healing began to unfold. Emotional and nervous system imprints slowly released, and what once caused rejection of my womanhood softened into reverence.

After years of conscious work—female empowerment, self-love, meditation, spiritual practice, and embodiment—I can say with certainty:

Creating art with my menstrual blood has been the most profound initiation into womanhood I have experienced in this lifetime.

My mission is to bring awareness to the sacred intelligence of the womb and the creative power it holds. My deepest wish is to live in a world where women and men alike honour the intrinsic beauty, mystery, and wisdom of the Wombman—and through my art, feel invited to remember Life as sacred.
