MOON ART | Healing Prayer Mandala

Healing Prayer emerged during a moment of collective grief in the face of devastating war. Every fingerprint in this mandala represents a soul who lost their physical life, each one honored, held, and returned to peace within the sacred geometry of the artwork.

Encircling the mandala is a Tibetan mantra for peace, harmony, and restoration. The mantra acts as a vibrational field, cradling each soul in prayer and offering a space for remembrance, healing, and spiritual refuge.

Created with my menstrual blood, this piece is both a memorial and a prayer, a living altar for compassion, unity, and the profound interconnectedness of all beings.

ABOUT PERIOD ART

My initiation into womanhood took place during a profound ceremony in 2016 while I was bleeding. After a night filled with mystical visions—death and life interwoven in a single breath—I received a realization that changed everything I believed about menstruation:
I was meant to create with my blood.

Throwing it away suddenly felt misaligned. Instead, I felt called to transform it into something intentional, sacred, and alive.

Before this awakening, I suffered from severe period cramps since menarche. But as I began painting with my blood, month after month, something shifted. The emotional residue held in my nervous system began to release. The deep-rooted discomfort I once carried about being a woman slowly dissolved into reverence.

Through years of embodiment work, healing, meditation, and conscious feminine practice, one truth remains unwavering:

Creating art with my menstrual blood has been my most healing initiation into womanhood.

My mission is to help others remember the sacredness of the womb and the creative mystery held within it. My deepest desire is to live in a world where all beings recognize the intrinsic beauty, power, and wisdom of the Wombman. Through my art, may you feel inspired to remember, inquire, or simply witness the magic of Life expressing itself.
