The womb is the seat of our feminine energy—our intuition, our creativity, our power. And yet, we often neglect it until something feels wrong. Pain, tension, inflammation, imbalances. But what if we approached our womb with consistent tenderness instead of waiting for dis-ease?

One of the most beautiful rituals to support your womb space, hormones, digestion, and overall vitality is the castor oil pack.

This ancient practice is simple, accessible, and deeply nourishing. It doesn’t require fancy tools—just your presence, your touch, and high-quality oil.

A bit of history...

Castor oil has been used for thousands of years across cultures. Its medicinal use dates back to Ancient Egypt, where it was prized for its healing and purifying properties. More recently, it was popularized by Edgar Cayce, a 20th-century mystic known for his holistic health teachings. He promoted castor oil packs as a powerful remedy for a wide range of conditions—from liver stagnation to reproductive issues.

The magic lies in ricinoleic acid, a unique fatty acid found in castor oil that is known for its anti-inflammatory, antimicrobial, lymph-stimulating, and tissue-healing properties.

When applied externally with heat, castor oil penetrates deeply into the tissues, increasing circulation and supporting detoxification on a cellular level.

How to do a Castor Oil Pack

  1. Prepare your space:
Lay a towel or a waterproof yoni blanket under you to protect your bed or couch. Castor oil can be messy!

  2. Use organic, cold-pressed castor oil in a glass bottle.
Plastic can leach toxins, so avoid it if possible

  3. Warm the oil:
Pour a generous amount into your palms and rub your hands together to warm it

  4. Massage your womb:
Gently massage your lower belly with slow, loving strokes. Let the oil absorb, and connect with your womb as you do

  5. Apply your cloth:
You don’t need fancy tools—a piece of organic cotton, an old T-shirt, or a clean towel will work perfectly. Pour more castor oil over the cloth and place it over your womb

  6. Add heat:
Place a hot water bottle on top (avoid electric heating pads to minimize EMFs)

  7. Rest and receive:
Lie back for at least 30 minutes (or longer). You can even fall asleep with the pack—just be sure your bed is protected from stains

Internal use of castor oil (vaginal application)

For even deeper nourishment, castor oil can also be used internally.

Here’s how:

  • Use only organic, cold-pressed, hexane-free castor oil of the highest quality

  • Take a clean syringe (without a needle!) and fill it with a small amount of oil

  • Gently insert the oil into the vagina before bedtime

  • Place a yoni blanket or towel under you to avoid staining the sheets

  • The next morning, you’ll find that your tissues have absorbed most of the oil, leaving the vagina deeply moisturized, nourished, and soft

Important:
This practice should not be done while menstruating or pregnant.

This is a ritual, not a quick fix.

Your body responds to consistency, not urgency.
With love, time, and care, your womb will begin to trust you again.

Even a few minutes a day of this intentional touch can reconnect you with your inner rhythm and reawaken your body's wisdom.

Start small. Stay soft.
Your womb will thank you.
